Stores / Warehouse Operatives required to work for a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation. We are looking for an effective and well organised individual to work within the stores team to be responsible for handling material supplies. You will be involved in all receiving and storing of materials into the site.
The role will work closely with the production team to ensure the smooth running of materials stores, to ensure the Manufacturing Team, external customers etc are well supported with all the materials needs.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and background of working within and engineering/ manufacturing stores/ warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Goods In / Goods Out
- Receiving, Blocking, Putting Away and Returning Goods
- Sampling
- Waving, Rating, Picking, Shipping and Returning Finished Goods
- Compiling or generating documentation including Checklists, Manifests and Dangerous Goods etc.
- Stock Control
- Cycle-Counting
- Replenishment
- Packing
- Equipment Cleaning
- Palletisation
- Labelling
- Use of Supplier, Freight and Partner websites to book shipments.
- Record and report short or damaged deliveries.
