Cell Engineer - Li-ion Specialist will be responsible for direct process characterization, documentation, improvements, and monitoring to include budgeting and supporting world class manufacturing performance.
Responsibilities:
- PDCA, Process Mapping, Value Stream Mapping, implementation of SPC, performing TPM audits, performing ISO 9000 or AS9100 audit
- Oversee completion and maintenance of work instructions (SOE, OMS, Product Sync, MFG-docs) to give clear directions for operator activities.
- Review doc revisions for accuracy and simplicity to eliminate errors and ensure practicability.
- Process related projects management
- Statistical Process Control & Process Capability Review
- Outside Tool & Mold tracking, Audit, and Review
Requirements:
-Academic background:BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering. Experience with Li-ion batteries in particular or other battery chemistries is a plus
-5 years experience in Process Engineering, Process Development, and Process Mapping (minimum)
-Specific knowledge: Kaizen, SPC, Pull Flow Production, TPM, Process Mapping, Management of professionals
-Business understanding: General understanding of activities and developments in other functional areas. Ability to develop and manage capital projects.
