Do you have experience in managing high-value installation/construction sites in one or more of the following sectors: automated warehouse, automated DC/FC, intralogistics, parcel sortation, baggage handling, manufacturing systems, lifts/ escalators (or similar highly mechanised systems?)
Delivering a unique, multi-million dollar highly automated project in western Sydney, our client has a role for an experience Site Manager for an 18month fixed-term contract, commencing May/June.
Site-based and reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the new appointee will arrange, guide, instruct and supervise all site operations for a site delivery team of up to 30 tradespeople (10 direct / 20 subcontracted). Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring that installation works are delivered on time / to budget and without safety violations.
* Monitor installation and commissioning work.
* Control the site to ensure high quality workmanship and that plant, materials and manpower align with project requirements.
* Participate in any design issue resolutions
About you:
You have min. 8+ years of working in a similar role, delivering multi-million dollar installation projects in highly mechanised environments and:
* Experience of leading large teams and managing subcontractors.
* Excellent verbal / written communication skills and computer literacy.
* A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical disciplines.
* Driving licence.
* Existing working rights for Australia.
