Project Manager - Industrial Storage and Automation

Salary + Super + expensed 4x4/ute

Already in high-growth mode due to strong demand for their industrial racking and automated storage solutions, our client is the Queensland operation of a highly respected company.
Responding to further order and a strong project pipeline, an immediate opportunity has now been created for an experienced Project Manager to join their established Brisbane team.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the new appointee with have significant autonomy in managing the successful on-time and on-budget delivery of concurrent projects, typically ranging in value from $100k to $5m in per-project value. Project types include racking only as well as automated storage solutions incorporating both industrial racking and 3rd party materials handling systems.

Specifically you will:
* Manage a portfolio of projects from point of sale through to completion.
* Ensure that freight of goods to site/contractors is managed, effective and within budget.
* Organise and coordinate trade contractors during projects delivery, ensuring that contract labour is managed effectively and in conjunction with all relevant OH&S / workplace regulations.
* Provide installers (both internal and external) with all the required job information including safety documentation.
* Report both internally and to clients on the status of projects during delivery.
* Liaise with the internal management colleagues to further develop the company's Business Management System
* Ensure that solutions and services provided are of high quality and meet customer expectations
* Participate in external and internal audit processes / lessons-learned and implement corrective actions where needed.
* Actively support, encourage and participate in continuous improvement with Opportunity for Improvement (OFI's).

About you
To thrive in this role it it likely that you already have a track record as a Project Manager, with demonstrable experience delivering CapEx projects in industrial storage/pallet racking, industrial automation, warehousing or the broader construction industry. In addition, you have/are:
* Ambitious and motivated.
* Confident and comfortable leading people and taking responsibility
* Excellent time-management skills.
* An interest in industrial storage or industrial automation
* Strong customer-facing communication skills
* Experience in appointing and overseeing subcontractors / contract labour
* Driving licence
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy
* A good understand of OH+S standards
