Position: CNC Setter / Operator - Late Shift Team Leader
Salary: £44,950 - £47,450 - Depending on experience
Location: Wickford
Hours: 14:00pm - 22:15pm
Proactive are currently in search of an experienced CNC Setter / Operator for a world leading Aerospace and Automotive company based in Wickford. They are at the forefront of delivering the parts that matters to their customers. Job Focus:
Your role as a CNC Setter Team Leader will involve setting and operating on CNC Machines using Siemens/Fanuc controls. We are currently looking for a skilled Setter looking to further his skills and move into leading a team.
Key accountabilities:
- Working on the machining platforms, producing various components across all the major projects.
- Setting and operating CNC Machines using Siemens and/or Fanuc controls
- Working to client Technical Instructions and program manuals to deliver consistent, high quality machining across a variety of different components and product families.
- The interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
- The assessment of whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards.
- Working within a team to effectively resolve quality issues and ensure your work is being completed to plan.
Skills / Experience:
- CNC machining experience (setting and operating)
- Previous experience working with aerospace or automotive components would be preferable.
- Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection.
- Pro-active and patient individual capable of managing your time effectively.
